One big concern in talking about engaging women, both clients and professionals, is the one-sided nature of the viewpoint. Yada, Yada, Yada….men need to change for women… blah, blah, blah. It gets really boring. Even worse, people may assume that men are the “bad guys”.
In Honor of Great Men
Let me assure you, I greatly appreciate the strengths of men. In fact, many of my clients are men and we do great work together.
June is the month we celebrate Fathers. It’s a good time to celebrate all great men. Here are a just few things that I admire about the men I know:
Courage Many achieve in a relentlessly fierce environment. I am awed!
Valor I’ve witnessed heros generously help others, at their own risk, true champions.
Loyalty They lead and serve people with great care.
Vigor They get hit, bounce back and keep going again and again.
Fire They have the vision, drive and focus to achieve great things.
We Need You & Thank You
The qualities of great men are hugely valuable and much needed. I know it’s politically correct to assume that masculinity is “toxic”. The internet trolls might come after me, but I don’t agree. I celebrate the qualities of great men. You have given to your loved ones, your communities and the world. We need you and thank you!
