I ask folks all the time if they ask strategic questions and 99% of the time the answer is “no”.
Here are some examples:
Have you asked your clients why they make referrals (or not)?
Have you asked COI professionals what’s important for them?
Have you asked your team how they could work more efficiently?
Have you asked your managers how they can be great leaders?
When people begin to ask strategic questions, they get really fantastic information which guides them to success. Of course, the next step is following up, but that’s obvious because now you have direction.
